ANGLO-INDIAN CONSOLE

ANGLO-INDIAN CONSOLE
Antique Burmese triple-carved rosewood console table. Apron, high back, cabriole legs and stretchers all intricately designed in an interlocking leaf pattern. Ornately detailed apron features a center medallion with lion figure. The lion most likely pays homage to the Lion Throne of the Konbaung Dynasty, the last dynasty that ruled Burma, from 1752 to 1885.
