SILVERPLATE GOLF TROPHY
A silverplated urn-shaped golf trophy. Makers mark indicates Cooper Bros and Son, a popular silverplate company founded in Sheffield in 1866. This elegant piece is Edwardian in style and dates from around the beginning of the 20th century. It is decorated with incised foliate design, has a finial ornament of three golf clubs and a ball and is graced by two loop handles.
