Vintage commemorative medal honoring the 130-year anniversary of the turning point of the American Revolutionary: The Battle of Saratoga, NY - when British General John Burgoyne surrendered to the Americans under General Gates. The gilt gold-tone medal with colorful enamel and painted ceramic plaque on the front. Inscribed "Saratoga" on the top banner two shields with "Empire State" and "Grand Comdy of NY" pendant with "Grand Encampment of the U.S., 30th Triennial Conclave, Surrender of Burgoyne, 1907". Signed on the back by the medal maker: The Chas. M. Robbins Co., Attleboro, Mass.
